It all started when…

We met each other 8 years ago in high school. We stayed friends, but were never close. One day we connected and a fire was lit between us two. Now, we can’t imagine spending a day without each other.

THE LOVE STORY

We grew up in the same home town, in the same high school and went to the same college town as each other and never even realized what was in front of us. I guess you could say, sometimes the answer is right in front of you.

THE PROPOSAL

After graduating from Texas Tech, I surprised Alyssa with “after grad photos.” We went through parts of campus until we reached the administration building, across from the student union building. After a couple of photos, I got on one knee and asked her to marry me. Thank the Lord she said yes because shortly after she did, 90% of her family came out and surprised her from behind the building. She had no idea I had gotten everyone from across the country together to celebrate this amazing moment we shared. It took a lot of planning and time, but it was all worth it.

WHAT MOMENT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO ON YOUR WEDDING DAY?

The moment I look forward to the most, is when Alyssa walks down the aisle with her dad walking beside her, I just know it will be a beautiful moment for both of us.

ADVISE FOR FUTURE COUPLES

When dealing with a wedding in the middle of a pandemic, don’t panic. Have backup plans and communicate them through your website/platform. Don’t stress about how perfect everything has to be. The mistakes and craziness what makes everything perfect.
