It all started when…

Really and truly it was nothing super exciting, he had just messaged me on Facebook and we just messaged back and forth for a while before he asked for my number!

THE PROPOSAL
I totally had a suspicion that the time was coming, he was going to pop the question just because of certain things that just seemed to jump out at me. The weekend of July 15th Blake's parents had arranged for us to take family pictures out at their family ranch. I was supposed to go to Dallas to visit my sister but then she canceled on me short notice (which she never cancels on me so that was hint #1). My soon-to-be mother-in-law had told me to invite my parents to the family pictures. My parents aren't big on that type of thing on going to the ranch nor taking "family pictures" without my other siblings. They finally agreed to go with us to the ranch which equally raised my suspicion. When we got out to the ranch Blake was very nervous and very sweet and quiet (he is not a quiet person at all). We took pictures in various spots around the ranch. We ended up on what we call "Terry Mountain" at sunset where me and Blake took our very first picture together. We all got family pictures together then me and Blake took pictures together last. Finally, the time was coming and it couldn't have been a more perfect time. We were facing away from our family holding hands and looking off into the distance. His dad came and "fixed his shirt" but gave him the ring and the photographer counted down and he proposed! What made this time even better was that once we were heading back to the trailer Blake had also surprised me with my sister being there.

WHAT MOMENT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO ON YOUR WEDDING DAY?

I am most looking forward to marrying my best friend, I'm looking forward to seeing him and his face of when I walk down the isle!

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TWIN LAKES?
We chose Twin Lakes because we both fell in love with the place and atmosphere there. We loved how beautiful everything was and how much it matched our style. We also really liked how friendly and welcoming Jane was.

Do you have any advice for future couples?

Trust the process, don't over think things! It'll all come together perfect or not, enjoy it because you get to marry the love of your life!
