It all started when…
When we think back on how we met, we both tell each other, "I always told myself, I wasn't ever going to pick some one up from a bar!" And much to our surprise, a bar is where we met! Cujo's Sports Bar! He was there already when I walked in with my friends. He always tells me that he noticed me the second I walked in! Over and over he told his friends about me, which I noticed every time they looked at our table and laughed! I thought they were making fun of us for some reason! One of his friends got up and came over to our table. She asked if I thought he was cute. I told her "I was just there to hangout with my friends!" She wouldn't let up, so I finally told her "Yes, I think he's cute!" After she sits down and tells him the good news, he decides to order a drink for me! LOL. I mouth "thank you" to him from our table. And just as they are about to leave, he comes up and introduces himself to me. I could tell he was so nervous, but he was so cute! My friend slipped him my number and from there our love story began!
our love story
We fell into LIKE fast! I would get good morning texts daily that would make my heart flutter. we would text all day. Adam would come see me on his lunch break (it was summer break for me). We would eat dinner together and then watch a movie! Our favorite place to go on dates was Fore Golf; we were probably there every weekend in the summer! It didn't take long for us to become so comfortable around each other. We did everything together and I LOVED every second with him! I had thought about it often, but one day after a few glasses of wine, it slipped out. I love you, Adam Garcia! We were less than a month in from MEETING and I knew in my heart that he was the one and I loved him! And guess what, he told me he loved me back! On June 23, 2019 at the end of family bowling night, Adam told me he couldn't wait another day and asked me if I would be his girlfriend! I was head over heels and of course said YES! As I mentioned above, we fell fast and hard for each other. So when Adam told me he wanted to look for a house with ME, it didn't seem to soon or like a crazy move to make! I knew I was in love! We found a beautiful house in October, FIVE months after meeting! I know it sounds crazy, but "when you know, you know!" We moved in and were so happy together! About a month later, we find out we are pregnant! Adam was of course the first person I told and he was so excited (slightly scared, but who isn't LOL). We told our families and they couldn't be happier! Adam was such a rock for me during my pregnancy. He treated me like a queen and made sure I always felt beautiful in my changing body. And on July 22, 2020 we welcomed our sweet baby boy, Ryan Lee Garcia. We now have a family of three plus our sweet dogs, Nova and Benji. I cannot wait to marry Adam and become a Garcia, a wife, and continue to build our family and life together.
the proposal
On March 29, 2020 during the start of this crazy pandemic, we had our Gender Reveal. We found out we were having a BOY! As if that wasn't enough excitement for one day, Adam asked me to marry him! This was the day I had always dreamed of, he made it so special! I was in disbelief that I had the man of my dreams asking me to marry him! I, of course, said YES, through ugly happy tears!
