It all started when…
We met because Sonia, Ana's mom, Greg and Sonia became co-teachers. Sonia told Ana that there was a guy that started working there and wanted to introduce us, of course, Ana wasn't really wanting to do that. However, she thought, "I'll give it a try, it probably won't work out anyway." We started talking and it turned out that we had a lot in common, more than we thought. Our first group date was his 25th birthday party with some of his friends. Then, their real first date was to dinner and a movie and it went splendid!
our love story
Our love story was more of a just were going to stay friends type of relationship, but it turned out to be much more than that. We had so much in common from movies to music to video games, there was no way we were going to pass on an opportunity to be more than that. After just two dates he asked my to be his girlfriend because how great it was going between the both of us. We have been inseparable ever since.
the proposal
We were at Disney World during Christmas time, it was Christmas Eve and we decided to take a picture at the Christmas tree they had in the lobby at the resort we were staying at before we left to the park, Hollywood Studios that had Galaxy's Edge. We rode a few rides before we got to Galaxy's Edge, when we finally got to that part of the park we stopped into the tavern to enjoy a drink and an appetizer because we were getting a little hungry. When we finished at the tavern, we walked outside and to our right was a big replica of the Millennium Falcon, Greg said, "Hey, do you want to go take a picture in front of it?" I said, "yes! I would love to!" (Star Wars in my favorite movie franchise ever)
Greg asked my brother if he could take the pictures for use, after the first couple of pictures from the corner of my eye I noticed Greg getting something from his pocket and I thought, "Oh it's probably just his glasses cloth," I continued smiling for the pictures and he looked at me and said, "Ana Monica, I love you with all my heart, (got down on one knee) will you please marry me?" and in shock I was just staring at him for a couple of seconds and then I broke down and started crying, my parents were screaming in the back and I finally got around to saying yes and Greg proceeded to put the ring on my finger. Thousands of people were surrounding us, those strangers were clapping and cheering, but all we could see was each other, and giving each other big hugs and kisses of course!
what i looked forward to the most on my wedding day (ana)
A moment I am looking for the most is definitely the ceremony as I am walking in with my dad, I want to have Greg's reaction as I am walking down the aisle.
why we chose twin lakes
Wanted something beautiful, different and outside of the Lubbock city limits and that is exactly what we get with TL.

I would say our wedding is a little rustic with a touch of my own style.

Please, please use TL wedding day coordinator and TL decorator, they help you out so much and saves you so much time for you on your wedding day. It gives you a sense of relief and relaxing wedding day to just spend praying over everything and gives you the opportunity to take your time getting ready for this special day.
advice for future couples
My advice if they choose to accept it is, learn to compromise, make sure you put some time aside to connect, don't give up on eachother, treat each other with respect, never stop being friends, he is definitely my best friend, continuing going on dates, and always communicate with your partner about everything, even if you think they wouldn't mind, still communicate with them because it is different from when you are dating to now being married.
