IT ALL STARTED WHEN…

On the night of November 16th, 2021 we ran into each other at Blue Light Live in Lubbock TX. I hate telling people we met at a bar but he loves it. He thinks the old fashion way to meet the love of your life is at a bar. I tell people we met at church, haha. I was in town for my friend’s birthday and coincidentally it was his as well. I joke that I was the best gift that he'd ever gotten. It seemed like perfect timing because I was moving to Lubbock so we decided to give it the ol college try. Since then we have never looked back!

Cobee said I love you after 2 months of dating, and proposed at 6 months (GIRL POWER). We are both VERY independent people which is why we butt heads at times because were raised a lot alike and want to conquer the world but we have figured out that doing life together is so much more fun. We grew up in towns near each other but never met till years later. We joke about how God was not ready for us to meet because were both messes in high school.

THE PROPOSAL

We were on our way back from Stephenville TX. Cobee had asked my father for his blessing that same day-- HE SAID YES. Whoop, whoop! We were terrified because we had only been dating for 6-7 months. Cobee and I stopped at a winery before we got back to Lubbock, we were walking through the vineyard and I looked back and there Cobee was on one knee. It was exactly how I wanted this special moment to be. Private and intimate.
