THE RESERVE AT 1902
To ensure a safe, seamless, and enjoyable experience for all guests, the following policies apply to all bar services through The Reserve at 1902.
alcohol guidelines
Couples must provide all alcohol to The Reserve at 1902 team either on the rehearsal night or the morning of the wedding.
All alcohol must remain in the designated bar area.
No outside bartenders are permitted.
BARTENDER & SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
All bartenders are TABC-certified.
Liquor service (Classic & Elevated packages) requires two bartenders.
Bar service includes up to 4 hours unless extended in advance.
Additional time is billed at $50 per bartender, per hour.
security requirement
Security officers are required from the time alcohol service begins until the last guest exits (not when the bar closes).
Twin Lakes will coordinate security scheduling.
Security payment must be brought in cash at rehearsal or the morning of the wedding.
Responsible Service Policy
No shots will be served.
No double pours.
Bartenders reserve the right to refuse service to visibly intoxicated guests.
Water will always be available at the bar.
Bar closes 15 minutes before the event ends unless otherwise approved.
gratuity
Couples may choose to:
Add a minimum 20% gratuity to their invoice
OR
Allow a tip jar/QR code at the bar during service
LIABILITY & COMPLIANCE
The Reserve at 1902 operates under required insurance and licensing.
All service follows Texas alcohol laws and TABC guidelines.
Failure to comply with bar policies may result in early closure of service.
payment schedule policies
50% of the total bar invoice is due 8 weeks prior to the wedding date. May be paid by check or card.
The remaining 50% is due 4 weeks prior to the wedding date. May be paid by check or card.
The guest count used for bar pricing will be confirmed at the 4-week final meeting.
Failure to make payments by the stated deadlines may result in suspension or cancellation of bar services.
Add-ons or upgrades requested after the 4-week deadline must be paid in full at the time of request.
All invoices must be paid in full before bar service begins.
bar menu & alcohol approval
The final bar menu and alcohol selections will be confirmed at your 4-week final meeting.
The menu agreed upon at that meeting is the official and approved service list.
Only the agreed-upon beer, wine, and liquor selections will be served.
If additional or unapproved alcohol is brought to the venue:
An Alcohol Addendum must be completed and signed.
The addendum must be reviewed and approved on rehearsal night or the morning of the wedding.
Twin Lakes reserves the right to refuse service of anyunapproved alcohol.
Additional fees may apply if changes impact staffing or service structure.
This policy ensures proper staffing, responsible service, and compliance with TABC regulations.
