It all started when…

Isaiah and I have known each other for over 15 years. He and my little brother grew up playing football together. When my mom had my little sister, Isaiah mom told my mom that she wanted to look over my little sister Melody. From then on we grew up doing so many things together. Once Isaiah and I got into high school, we grew apart, but kept in touch throughout the years. A few years back, Isaiah reached out to me to see how I was doing. After a few dinners and game nights with my family at my house, he asked me to be his girlfriend. From then on, we have gone through many battles, and many accomplishments, and we both say, and will continue to say, that we would not want to go through any of the things we have, with anyone else. We have the most beautiful daughter we get to experience this day with. She is also our love story!

THE PROPOSAL
While Breann was in school for Respiratory Therapy, I decided that I was going to propose on Easter in front of her family. Then Bre had wanted to go on a date night to First Friday Art Trail and I felt that is where I was led to propose to her, in the spot that she is in love with. However, we did not make it to that night. The night prior, Bre had come home after a long and hard day in Clincals at the hospital. We went to dinner, came home, and there in front of our daughter, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. I handed our daughter the ring to give to Bre, however, during the transfer to her mom, the ring fell onto the couch. After searching (flipping our couch over), we found the ring and she said yes. Though Bre, was in scrubs, with no nails or makeup on (even though she looked beautiful) that was the most perfect and beautiful experience.

WHAT MOMENT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO ON YOUR WEDDING DAY?

We are looking forward to just the love that we will have between the two of us, but also the love we get to share with our family and friends.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TWIN LAKES?
It is a beautiful venue and that is where we both felt led to become husband and wife.

Do you have any advice for future couples?

Just remember that even though you want your wedding to be everything you ever dreamed of, the most important or even only important part is that you are getting to marry the love of your life. The stress will come and go, but your person will always be the constant.

Remember to lean into each other during the good and bad times. Always remember the love that you have for one another.
