IT ALL STARTED WHEN…

We didn’t meet like most “normal” people, but what is normal anyway? We were both young and found ourselves on Tinder, never imagining that one harmless swipe would lead to a love that made us inseparable. What started as a simple match has grown into a future filled with lessons, blessings, and so much love.

THE PROPOSAL

Godlove proposed during a trip of a lifetime to Hawaii, which we planned with our son Asher. We were there visiting my brother-in-law and his wife. Three days during our trip, he had the most beautiful surprise planned for a long time, apparently. He proposed at Iroquois Beach. What I thought was a simple dinner turned into an unforgettable moment. As we arrived, I saw a red carpet lined with roses, “Marry Me” signs, a professional photographer from Hawaii, and a table set for us to celebrate afterward. Godlove was waiting for me on one knee. I was completely overwhelmed with joy and HAPPY tears. Even though our family and friends couldn’t be there in person, he had arranged a video filled with their congratulations and love. He never ceases to make every moment feel incredibly special.

Our love story is about growth, family, and choosing each other every day. We didn’t start with everything figured out, but we built it together. Becoming parents early, learning life side by side, and loving each other through every season have shaped who we are today. This wedding isn’t just a celebration of our love....it’s a celebration of how far we’ve come, the family we’ve created, and the future we’re excited to continue building together.

***WHAT MOMENT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO ON YOUR WEDDING DAY?***

We’re most looking forward to dancing and celebrating with our friends and family as they enjoy this special moment alongside us. More than anything, we can’t wait to see our son’s reaction—watching his excitement as he finally sees his mom share his last name at the big wedding he’s been looking forward to just as much as we have.

ADVICE FOR FUTURE COUPLES:

One thing we hope future couples take away from our wedding is that it’s okay to make it exactly what you’ve always dreamed of. Don’t be afraid to go all out and create moments that are meaningful to you. Don't worry about other people and focus on what makes YOU happy. For us, including our son in the celebration, doing extra "unnecessary " things, being ourselves to make the day feel special for our whole family, was a must. Plan a wedding that truly reflects your love story and the family you’ve built.

WEDDING THEME/STYLE

I have always wanted to be glamorous and over-the-top. I wasn’t always the fanciest or most glamorous, but that’s what I wanted to be. I never found myself that way until I fell in love and wanted better for myself. I never got the opportunity to give myself something nice. I visualized and fantasized about other girls’ weddings. So now it’s our turn to make our wedding dream come true.
