It all started when…

Oren and Krislyn went to elementary and some of middle school together back in the day. Krislyn had the biggest crush on him and he had no idea! We both moved off and reconnected on Tinder and the rest is history! we could not imagine our lives without each other now!

THE PROPOSAL
Krislyn's family was in on the proposal and had a whole setup ready to go! Krislyn's mom set up a time to take "family pictures" and everyone had to coordinate colors with whatever Krislyn was wearing for a Thanksgiving fall family picture day! When it was time for Oren and Krislyn to take their pictures, Makanna, Krislyn's sister in law, distracted Krislyn with poses off of Pinterest! Of course they were off of Makanna's engagement pictures board and Krislyn was oblivious! When she turned around there Oren was on one knee with Krislyn's great grandmothers ring and popped the question! It was an extremely sentimental proposal because, Krislyn's only request was to have her family present and they were all there to witness it!

WHAT MOMENT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO ON YOUR WEDDING DAY?

We are looking forward to our first dance! We both love dancing and music and we are ready to have our special first dance as husband and wife! Fun fact: They both realized they loved each other when they were at the bar dancing one night. Every time we both here Dixieland Delight by Alabama it takes us back to that night.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TWIN LAKES?
We chose Twin Lakes because we loved the atmosphere and how kind and helpful everyone is there. There is so much we love about the property and the breath taking views as well.

ADVICE FOR FUTURE COUPLES
Take in all the time you can with your fiancé and do not sweat all the little stuff because it will always work out in the end. Compliment each other every once in a while and NEVER stop flirting with each other!!!!

OUR WEDDING

Get started on the planning EARLY! It is never to early to start planning your wedding and making sure you have enough time to pay all of the vendors off, especially if you are having your wedding during a busy wedding time. It is better to be over prepared than under prepared.
